Heavy rain likely in three districts today

The State meteorological centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of heavy rainfall in two districts of the State today. The warning has been issued considering the possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on Monday. Apart from this, the meteorological centre has forecast that light to moderate rainfall/thunderstorms are likely to occur at many places in the districts of Uttarakhand with intense showers possible at isolated places in the hills of the State today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate rainfall/thunderstorms are likely to occur with intense showers/heavy rain possible in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 34 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today. Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Sunday were 34.1 degrees Celsius and 23.7 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 34.1 degrees Celsius and 27.1 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 22.5 degrees Celsius and 14.8 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 25 degrees Celsius and 16.6 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
