Kulkarni enthralls audience with renditions on flue

The Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) organised flute recitals by Pandit Rupak Kulkarni at the Himjyoti Vocational Training Institute and Central Academy for State Forest Service on Friday. He was accompanied by Hindole Majumdar on Tabla.
During his performance, Pandit Rupak Kulkarni presented Vrindavani Sarang, morning Raga and other renditions which enthralled the audience. Kulkarni is a disciple of the noted Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and a recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Prakash Award by Bhavan’s Mumbai for contribution to music. He was also invited by the renowned Trinity College of Music, London, to give lecture demonstrations. During his circuit, Kulkarni also performed at DAV Public School and the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities. He will also perform at John Martin School and Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy.
