Bomb squad checks Roorkee railway station

The police bomb squad undertook a checking at the Roorkee railway station. The action of the bomb squad was in response to an anonymous letter received with a threat to detonate a bomb in the Roorkee railway station.
During the joint check conducted by the bomb squad with a sniffer dog and the personnel of the Government Railway Police (GRP), the documents of persons who appeared suspicious were also checked. According to officials, letters with the threat to blow up the railway station have been received twice by the GRP. The GRP Roorkee in-charge Mamta Gola said that the documents of suspicious persons were also checked while a sniffer dog was used in checking the railway station.
