180 new Covid-19 cases, two deaths in U’khand on Thursday

The State Health department reported 180 new cases of Covid-19 and death of two patients from the disease in Uttarakhand on Thursday. Death of one patient each was reported from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh and Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital on the day. The authorities also announced the recovery of 212 patients from the disease on Thursday.
The department has so far detected 1,00,658 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 95,324 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 94.70 per cent on Thursday. A total of 307 patients have lost their lives to the disease this year in the state.
The health department reported 88 new patients from Dehradun, 33 from Nainital, 19 from Haridwar, 14 from Udham Singh Nagar, 12 from Almora, four from Pithoragarh, three from Bageshwar, two each from Chamoli, Pauri and Tehri and one from Uttarkashi on Thursday. No new patient was reported from Champawat and Rudraprayag districts on the day.
There are 1448 active patients of Covid- 19 in the state now. Dehradun with 665 cases is at the top of the table of active cases in the state.
