Former CM BC Khanduri tests positive for Covid-19

Former chief minister Major General (retd) Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri has tested positive for Covid-19. The senior leader visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh following the complaint of weakness and tiredness. In the hospital the doctors conducted many tests on him and on Friday his swab sample was found positive for Covid-19. On the advice of the doctors, the former CM aged 89 years has isolated himself in his residence. His condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile the Health and Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat who had met Khanduri at AIIMS Rishikesh on Thursday has isolated himself. The minister said that he has come into contact with Khanduri in AIIMS and has got himself tested for the disease. He said that all his programmes would remain suspended till the report of the test arrives.
