Congress postpones August 28 Delhi rally

The party will hold Mehangai Par Halla Bol rally in Delhi on September 4
The Congress party has postponed its proposed rally to be held at Ramlila ground in New Delhi on August 28. The party would now hold the rally on September 4 in New Delhi. The Vice president of the Uttarakhand Congress, Dhirendra Pratap said that on September 4, Mehangai Par Halla Bol rally would be organised in New Delhi. He said that the Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and top leaders of the party would address the rally. Pratap said that the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president of Uttarakhand Karan Mahara is in New Delhi where he is holding discussions with the central leaders about the rally. He informed that the PCC president has convened a meeting of all the district presidents, office bearers and members of PCC, representative of frontal organisations and leaders in Dehradun on August 22. He claimed that thousands of party workers and leaders would participate in the Delhi rally and every possible effort would be made to make the rally a huge success.
