The Municipal Corporation of Haridwar (MCH) has issued a notice to an advertising company to deposit the installments of unipole and pole kiosks on time. The corporation has warned the company to pay the due on time otherwise heavy penalty will be imposed. According to sources, the company also has to pay Rs 15 lakh GST amount.
Midas Infratech Private Limited had submitted tender for 89 unipoles and 700 pole kiosks in MCH. The company got the contract in November 2021 for two years. The company had to deposit the amount in installments with the municipal corporation. According to officials, the advertising company had to deposit about Rs 85 lakh in the second installment in June. However, the advertising company has not yet deposited the amount in the account of the municipal corporation.
Assistant municipal commissioner Shyam Sundar Sharma has issued a notice to the advertising company and issued orders to deposit the amount of installment with GST soon.
