Former head of Shia Waqf board of UP to surrender at jail today
Former chairman of Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi (Wasim Rizvi) released a new video on Wednesday stating that he fears a Fidayeen (suicidal) attack. He Said that he would reach Haridwar on September 1 and surrender in jail on September 2.
Tyagi, who is accused of delivering a hate speech during the three-day Dharm Sansad here in the past, said that when he was lodged in the district jail at Roshanabad, some anti-social elements of Jwalapur wanted to enter the jail and sever his neck. This could not happen because of the strictness of the prison authorities. It will be recalled that Tyagi is on bail for three months. The Supreme Court has ordered him to surrender in Haridwar jail by September 2.
