The traffic police in Dehradun have started a new campaign of converting absurd and crude dialogues written on vehicles into road safety awareness slogans. The superintendent of police (Traffic) Akshay Konde informed that many vehicle owners flout the traffic norms by displaying absurd dialogues like ‘Papa Ki Pari’ , ‘Stop Me If You Can’ and ‘Baap Ki Road (Dad’s Road)’ among others.
Considering such blatant violations, the traffic police have started to convert such absurd dialogues into a meaningful road safety awareness slogan to encourage people to follow traffic rules, said Konde.
He also appealed to the public to click photos of such vehicles which display absurd dialogues and send it to the traffic control number 7579278154 through WhatsApp or by selecting the traffic eye on the Uttarakhand Police App.
