In a huge disappointment for India, the woman wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified from the Paris Olympics ahead of the final women wrestling 50 kg bout for her failure to meet the weight requirement.
As per reports quoting the Indian contingent for Paris Olympics, she was 100 grams over the permitted weight limit. Though the team tried their hardest, Vinesh weighed a few grams over 50 kg limit.
