A man was knocked down by a speeding two- wheeler in Premnagar area of Dehradun. Seriously injured, he was rushed to Doon Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police from Premnagar police station registered a case against the rider of the two-wheeler. The Premnagar police station in-charge P D Bhatt said that the deceased was Manoj Dhoundiyal (48) who hailed from Pauri Garhwal. He worked as a security guard in Premnagar area. When he was crossing road a student of Petroleum University riding a two-wheeler knocked him down. Police further said that the two-wheeler rider was seriously injured too in the accident and he was being treated in a private hospital.
