AAP accuses Uttarakhand Government of being insensitive towards unemployed
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alleged Uttarakhand Government of being insensitive towards the educated unemployed in the state.
Ravinder Jugran, who recently joined the party made this allegations on the basis of the information received through Right to information (RTI) Act. According to him, the state administration released notification for the recruitment of around 1,431 LT assistant teachers on October 13 with the last date to apply slated for December 4. However, the candidates who have CTET qualified certification can fill applications for LT exams but since the CTET exam was recently concluded on January 31, thousands of candidates could not apply for the LT exams which are scheduled to occur in the next few months, said Jugran. Due to this, he added that they approached Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSC) and requested them to allow deprived candidates to give LT exams.
The commission forwarded this proposal to the State Government but no action was taken in this matter, asserted Jugran. He pointed out that if the State Government will not instruct the commission to allow the deprived candidates to apply for the exam, they will have to approach the court for justice.
