Led by the state coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party Jot Singh Bisht, the party workers distributed sweets in Dehradun on Wednesday to mark their party having been recognised as a national party. Bisht said that the party has achieved this status thanks to the dynamic and far-sighted leadership and hard work of Arvind Kejriwal. “This is all the more spectacular as the party has achieved this in a short time. This is due to its execution of its principle of corruption-free governance. Now we are in a position to take on the BJP on the issue of corruption,” he said.
He urged the party activists to stick to honesty. “Those who work honestly never give up. Ours is the party known for fighting against corruption and we will continue to do so,” he said. Referring to Uttarakhand, the state AAP leader said that they would fight the upcoming municipal elections across the state.
The state spokesperson of the party Kamlesh Raman said that a seminar would be held at the state party office on the occasion of Baba Saheb B R Ambedkar’s birth anniversary themed on ‘Save the Constitution and Eradicate Corruption’.
