Accusing the AAP, Congress and Akali Dal of corruption in Punjab, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the people associated with industry and traders have also made up their mind to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive term. He was interacting with the traders and prominent personalities in Ludhiana, Punjab on Sunday.
He said that in the last 10 years PM Modi has dedicated every minute to the people of the country. As per the commitment of PM Modi, the NDA government works for 140 crore Indians. The CM said that the 10-year tenure of PM Modi has made the countrymen proud as progress has taken place in every field. The Indians residing in other countries are also feeling proud as India’s prestige in the world has increased in recent times.
The CM said that today every trader and shopkeeper does digital payment and India has become the country doing the highest number of digital transactions. The Indian economy has become the fifth largest economy of the world. Dhami said that everyone is moving forward with the commitment of Viksit Bharat under the leadership of PM Modi. New AIIMS, IIT, IIM and airports are being constructed at a fast pace and the country and Punjab has witnessed historic development in infrastructure.
“When the Congress leaders come to seek votes, they should be asked as to who was responsible for the 1984 riots. Under PM Modi, construction of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor was done and the three sacred copies of Guru Granth Sahib were carried from Afghanistan to India with reverence. The Veer Bal Diwas being celebrated now in remembrance of four sahibzadas of Guru Govind Singh,’’ he said.
Dhami said that the development of the State having double engine governments has occurred at a fast pace. He said that today drug mafia is dominant in Punjab and the State government here is doing nothing apart from publishing big advertisements in newspapers.
Dhami said that the triumvirate of AAP, Congress and Akali Dal has done nothing apart from engaging in corruption. Launching an attack on AAP, he said that the resources of Punjab are getting dedicated to Arvind Kejriwal and the State plane of the Punjab government is used by Delhi CM.
He said that while in Delhi AAP and Congress are contesting elections jointly in Punjab they are opposing one another. Dhami exhorted the people to vote for BJP candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu so that he can serve the people of Ludhiana by becoming a member of PM’s team.
