AAP has no base in U’khand: PCC chief
Reacting sharply to the claim of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that many leaders of BJP and Congress would soon join AAP in Uttarakhand, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh said that the party has no base in Uttarakhand.
Talking to the media persons at Rajiv Bhawan here on Monday, he said that bereft of any base in the state, the AAP is looking at BJP and Congress in Uttarakhand. He said that the people of Uttarakhand had rejected such parties in the past and a similar fate awaits AAP in Uttarakhand also.
The PCC president said that the ground conditions in Uttarakhand are vastly different from Delhi and AAP which is dreaming big in the state would be rejected by the people. He pointed out that AAP has failed miserably in its attempt to create a base for itself in many states and the party has no presence outside Delhi.
