AAP has no relevance in U’khand, says BJP

The Aam Aadmi Party has no relevance in Uttarakhand and its leaders are not even worth being replied to. Stating this, the Bharatiya Janata Party state chief spokesman and MLA, Munna Singh Chauhan said that the aim of irresponsible actions of AAP leaders is limited to securing some fame in the political scenario of Uttarakhand. It would be better if AAP leaders stop dreaming of posing a challenge to the BJP in Uttarakhand, he said.

Chauhan said, “In the case of the government primary school in Doiwala block which Delhi deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia visited, the first installment of Rs 4.15 lakh for repairing the building was released in September 2020. There were eucalyptus trees around this school which posed a threat to the students. A proposal was sent to the forest department for cutting these trees and after the required permission, the task of cutting the trees is underway. As it is, the schools are closed these days due to Covid-19. If Sisodia watches the video of the Pradhan representative of Jeevanwala, he would feel ashamed,” added Chauhan.

He opined that AAP leaders come to Uttarakhand for recreational visits. Ministers of the Uttarakhand government and leaders of the BJP do not have the time for such leaders as they are not even taken seriously. “AAP leaders should leave behind their anarchist politics before coming to Uttarakhand. Their negativity is such that the school they had visited to score political points is the one for which chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat had already approved funds for renovation. The law rules in Uttarakhand, not anarchy,” said Chauhan.

He further pointed out that besides the Jeevanwala primary school which Sisodia visited, there is a junior high school which is in a better condition than the government schools of Delhi but the AAP leader did not see that. The children of Uttarakhand who have studied from government schools have become officers in the armed forces and secured positions in various all India services and professions.

During nearly four years of the state government under chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, various works have been done for good governance, transparency, fiscal discipline, check on corruption, reverse migration, health services, virtual classes, development of new tourist destinations and Covid management. Listing the various works done in Uttarahkand, Chauhan pointed out that everyone saw the mismanagement of the Delhi government during the Covid pandemic. The situation there improved a bit after the Central government took over Covid management. The BJP does not think that AAP leaders visiting Uttarakhand to pass time are worth any response, he added.
