The chief ministerial candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Ajay Kothiyal presented parking system model to tackle the parking issue in Uttarkashi. Kothiyal who is contesting the Assembly election from the Gangotri constituency presented the model in Joshiyara on Saturday in the presence of mediapersons that displayed how several pieces of unused land can be utilised for parking space which will also help in minimising the traffic jam on roads. He said that the model has been formed after the proper inspection of experts with the help of expert architects who have considered all the main points before making the model. He also presented models of football grounds along with some parking models in Uttarkashi. He said that AAP directly interacts with people and takes the help of experts to tackle the issues as he did with the parking issue in Uttarkashi. He said, “Uttarkashi is my Karmabhoomi. I will keep working on developing it so that local people and tourists do not face such issues here. Both Congress and BJP have failed to tackle the issue but we already have a model. It will be executed if the party comes to power.”
