AAP protests against alleged UKSSSC & Assembly recruitment scams

Saturday, 03 September 2022 | PNS | Dehradun

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) burnt an effigy of the State government and staged a protest against the alleged scams in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) and Vidhan Sabha recruitments.

The AAP’s State vice president Uma Sisodia said that the youth of Uttarakhand are feeling betrayed by their own government. They have been robbed of their rights to give recruitment exams in an honest manner for a safe and secure future.  The scams in UKSSSC recruitment exam and Vidhan Sabha appointments have broken the morale of the youth who are disappointed by the State government and questioning how it lets corrupt people play with their future, said Sisodia.  She also alleged that the involvement of the government and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in this whole matter is quite obvious as most of the accused have been found to be connected with the government in one way or another.

The Garhwal media in-charge of AAP Ravindra Singh Anand also said that the BJP led government has played with the future of the youths and the party will have to face consequences in the upcoming elections across the State.

Heavy rain likely in Dehradun & Nainital districts today
