The Uttarakhand unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest outside Gandhi Park in Dehradun on Monday against the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) examination paper leak case. AAP’s state convenor, Jot Singh Bisht said that the way in which the examination papers are being leaked time and again under the nose of the state government, clearly depicts improper functioning of the government. It also indicates the involvement of BJP leaders which are the cause of deeply rooted corruption in the state, added Singh. The AAP also demanded to hand over the case to a retired judge of the High Court for proper investigation.
The Party’s youth wing president Nitin Joshi said that the government and UKSSSC have deceived the youth of Uttarakhand and jeopardized their future and AAP would fight against it. Uma Sisodia, AAP’s vice president also said that the party knows how to fight against injustice and would not sit quietly on the issue. Senior leader of AAP R P Raturi and others took part in the protest.
