AAP rallies towards CM residence to protest against failures
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members marched towards the chief minister’s residence on Thursday to mark the completion of four years in office of the BJP state government terming the period as a failure. Under the leadership of the AAP state in-charge, Dinesh Mohaniya and the state president SS Kaler, a large number of party members marched towards the CM residence but were stopped at barricading put up by the police in Hathibadkala. Police also detained some members who forcibly tried to cross the barricade.
Mohaniya was also detained after he sat down near the barricading with his supporters. The party members said that they also had to hospitalise Kaler after he was jostled by the police. According to Mohaniya, the BJP has done nothing in the last four years for the development of citizens and should apologise for wasting these years. The government is answerable to the public for its actions and if they would not get the answer to such questions, the AAP would visit the home of each BJP minister to seek answers, stated Mohaniya.
