Contest between AAP and BJP only: Mohaniya
Aam Admi Party today asserted that the forthcoming assembly elections in Uttarakhand will be a contest between BJP and AAP.
The state in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Dinesh Mohaniya on Wednesday said that only Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and AAP will be in the contest in the year 2022 and Congress will be nowhere in the picture.
Mohaniya said that senior leader of Congress party Harish Rawat was trying hard to be chief ministerial face from the party but now he too has declined to participate in the elections. “Further, the member of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Bhupendra Singh who was associated with the party for years has also sent his resignation to the state in-charge of Congress”, said Mohaniya. Calling Congress party as a sinking ship, Mohaniya said that the final contest will zero in between BJP and AAP in upcoming assembly elections.
