AAP targets BJP, Cong for being insensitive towards Gairsain

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said that it is regrettable that Uttarakhand still does not have a permanent capital even after 22 years of its creation. Interacting with the media persons here on Tuesday the media in charge of AAP, Ravindra Singh Anand said that the both BJP and Congress who have ruled the state after its creation in the year 2000 have treated Gairsain apathetically. He said that the statehood activists and martyrs had many dreams for the state and a permanent capital in Gairsain was one of them.

Anand said that the BJP had declared Gairsain as the summer capital of Uttarakhand on June 8, 2020 but it proved to be mere stunt to attract headlines. He said that Harish Rawat of Congress is now again raising the issue of Gairsain but his party did nothing for Gairsian when it was in power for ten years. Anand said that the Chief Minister Dhami should seek apology from the martyrs of the state. Anand said that the AAP would launch a major agitation for a permanent capital of the state soon.
