The senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will take action against those party members and workers who have been inactive in the State for a long time. This was decided in the meeting held here on Sunday in the presence of the AAP’s state in-charge and MLA of Punjab’s Lehra, Barinder Kumar Goyal and co-in-charge and MLA of Delhi’s Trilokpuri, Rohit Kumar Mehraulia. Addressing the party members, Goyal said that no party member or worker should consider themselves bigger than the party. “The party will act against those who have been sitting at home for years.

Those who are not working and helping the party to take their policies to every home. The party will soon prepare a list of such people and will take further action accordingly,” he said. He said that AAP’s main objective is social service and those who want to serve people can come forward and work for the party.

He also directed the in-charges to make a list of party workers in their respective areas within a week and submit it to the party’s State office. Mehraulia also said that AAP will soon intensify its activities in the State and will work and prepare for upcoming elections of civic bodies. He said that when some people leave the party, several others join it, which continues to strengthen the AAP in the country. Both MLAs said that they are optimistic that AAP will perform well in upcoming civic body elections.
