AAP to contest Panchayat elections in Haridwar

Amid the attempts to make its presence felt in Uttarakhand as the third alternative in view of approaching assembly elections next year, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared that it will contest in the coming Panchayat elections in Haridwar district. This decision was taken in the recent executive meeting of the party in Rishikesh in the presence of the MLA from Jangpura assembly constituency of Delhi, Praveen Kumar, the state in-charge of the party, Dinesh Mohaniya and the state president of the party, S S Kaler.
Talking about contesting Panchayat elections in Haridwar, Mohaniya said that this decision was taken on the basis of the immense support of locals and mass following of the party in Haridwar. He said that AAP will start its political journey in the State by contesting the Panchayat elections in Haridwar and every party worker would work hard to make the Aam Aadmi Party as the best alternative in the Panchayat elections as well as in the assembly elections in the year 2022. Mohaniya said that he is quite confident that AAP will win both the forthcoming elections considering the rising support of the public to the party in the State in such a short time.
