AAP to gherao Vidhan Sabha on Dec 9

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced that it will gherao Vidhan Sabha on the first day of the winter session of the Assembly session on Thursday alleging that the BJP led state government has been a failure during its nearly five year term so far.
The AAP spokesman Ravindra Anand said that BJP has failed to fulfil the promises it made during the last assembly elections and has not done any significant development work across the state. He said that like the past chief ministers, chief minister Pushkar Dhami also made several announcements but nothing is being done at the ground level. He added that rather than improving the deteriorating condition of the state, the BJP remained busy changing the CMs. He said, “The government has failed to tackle major public issues like unemployment, migration and condition of health services in remote areas. They have also failed to fulfill the promises made in their manifesto of the 2017 assembly elections. It is appalling that the party still expects the public to vote for it.”
Anand stated that hundreds of party workers and AAP supporters will gherao the Vidhan Sabha on Thursday to protest against the government’s failure.
