AAP to provide third alternative to people of U’khand: Sisodia
Deputy CM of Delhi attends several programmes in Doon
The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia has said that the people of Uttarakhand are closely watching the performance of the BJP government and are comparing it with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Delhi. He said that the people of the state have now made up their mind to support AAP for its policies and clean politics.
Sisodia was addressing the media persons during his visit to the state here on Saturday. Launching an attack on the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Sisodia said, “Though he claims to have a ‘Zero tolerance on corruption’ he actually is a ‘Zero work Chief Minister’.’’ He added that the public perception in Uttarakhand is that the government has Congress Ministers and a BJP Chief Minister.
The AAP leader said- when the Delhi government can provide free power to 70 percent of its population, why people of Uttarakhand cannot be given such a benefit? He said that the AAP is ready to provide a third alternative to the people of Uttarakhand. He said that the AAP is receiving a huge support and love of people of the state and many prominent people are getting associated with the party. On the chief ministerial candidate of AAP in Uttarakhand, Sisodia said that the party would announce a name at appropriate time.
In response to a question regarding the expected entry of some senior leaders in AAP, Uttarakhand in charge of the party, Dinesh Mohaniya said that the doors of the party are closed for corrupt, criminal and communal leaders.
Earlier on the day Sisodia was accorded a warm welcome by the party workers and leaders on his arrival in Dehradun. The deputy CM of Delhi went to the martyrs’ memorial at collectorate where he offered tributes to the statehood activists. He also garlanded the statue of Indramani Badoni. Sisodia participated in a programme organised by a social organization and interacted with the principals of more than 250 schools. He also participated in a “dialogue with the people” programme where he answered the queries of the people.
