The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced that its members will visit the residence of each MLA of Uttarakhand on October 31 to seek information on the development work done by them in the past five years. Addressing the media in Kashipur, the party’s state in-charge Dinesh Mohaniya said that chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently announced that BJP workers will go door to door across the state and to tell the public about development works done by the central government, state government and respective MLAs in the state. He said, “We are glad about this announcement. The AAP workers will approach all the MLAs on Sunday to know what development work they actually did in the past five years to inform the public.”
He said the government talks about the development works here but at the ground level, several issues including unemployment, migration, education, poor electricity and water connection among others are still prevalent at large. “We will question the MLAs of both BJP and Congress about their work. After this, we will approach the public. We would also like to meet the CM with the report of what the public actually thinks about the development work being done in the state,” added Mohaniya.
