AC buses to start on various routes from Doon

The transport department will resume operation of 24 air conditioned buses between Dehradun and Delhi-NCR shortly this month. The assistant general manager of Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Dehradun, KP Singh informed that roadways bus services between Dehradun and Delhi-NCR were put on hold due to Covid-19 since last year in April.

Though the regular bus services for the same routes were started about two months ago, the department started the operation of a few AC buses from Sunday, informed Singh. He stated that by the end of this month, the department will start 24 AC buses from Dehradun to Delhi-NCR. He said that the department has also started the operation of AC buses from Dehradun to Haldwani and Dehradun to Lucknow. He also informed that the department has not started AC buses for certain areas like Dharamsala due to the risk of landslides but these services will be resumed by the end of this month too.
