ACEO Jogdande reviews SVEEP activities, Chunav Pathshala programme

The additional chief electoral officer ( ACEO) Vijay Kumar Jogdande has said that the roster of the Chunav Pathshalas should be prepared in every district at the level of district magistrates and chief development officers. He said that the process of appointment of campus administrators in the schools and colleges should start in all the districts.
The ACEO gave the orders while presiding over a meeting of the CDOs and chief education officers at the State secretariat on Wednesday.
In the meeting Jogdande took information about the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities and public awareness programmes done by the districts.
He sought information about the district SWEEP icons, electoral literacy clubs, campus administrators in the degree colleges and Chunav Pathshala from the officers in the meeting
He directed that all the SWEEP icons should be regularly invited to the ELC and Chunav Pathshala programmes.
The ACEO directed that data of the ELC and campus administrators should be verified and a database of their regular activities should be prepared.
He said that a mega district level voter awareness programme should be organised in every district and senior officers of the district should attend these programmes. The ACEO suggested that effective use of social media should be made for voter awareness and SWEEP activities.
The deputy chief electoral officer Kishan Singh Negi, Mukta Mishra and CDOs and CEOs of all the districts attended the meeting.
