ACS asks officers to accord top priority to CM’s announcements

The additional chief secretary (ACS) Radha Raturi has directed the officers to accord top priority to the declarations made by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The ACS held a meeting with the officers of tourism, Panchayati raj and social welfare departments at the State secretariat on Friday and reviewed the progress of implementation of the announcements made by the CM. On a stern note, Raturi said that undue delay or laxity in the implementation of declarations made by the CM will not be tolerated. She said that the announcements made by the CM should be given top priority and should be completed in a time bound manner.
The ACS directed the tourism department to remove its internal divisions and there should be better coordination between Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), district tourism development officer, consultants and stakeholders for completion of works. She asked the additional secretary tourism to conduct a regular review of on the ground implementation of schemes by the UTDB, GMVN and KMVN.
ACS said that the beautification works of temples in Kumaon region under the tourism department should be included in the Manaskhand Mandir Mala mission.
The ACS also directed the officers of Panchayati raj, culture and social welfare for speedy implementation of different schemes. The meeting was attended by Secretary SN Pandey, additional secretary Puja Gabriyal, Jagdish Kandpal and other officers of departments concerned.
