In Dehradun news, the State additional chief secretary Anand Vardhan has asked the officers of all the departments of the State government to increase the volume of spending of the released budgets while holding a meeting with them in the Secteretariat in Dehradun. He stressed on 50 per cent spending of the released budgets being achieved till September. He made it clear that this matter would be reviewed from time to time. Among those present at the meeting included the State finance secretary, secretary disaster management and secretary animal husbandry.
At the meeting, the departments represented include agriculture department, rural development department, animal husbandry department, disaster management department, panchayati raj department, fishery department, revenue department, finance department and food and civil supplies department. At the same time, ACS also reviewed Centrally assisted schemes and NABARD-assisted schemes.
