Active cases of Covid-19 move past 300 mark in U’khand

The number of cases of Covid-19 in Uttarakhand is continuing to increase. The State now has more than 300 active cases of the disease.
The State health department reported 90 new cases of the disease from different parts of the State on Monday. The authorities reported 56 new cases of Covid-19 from Dehradun on Monday. The department found eight new cases of the disease in Haridwar, six in Nainital, five each in Champawat and Tehri, four in Pithoragarh, two each in Almora and Udham Singh Nagar and one each in Chamoli and Pauri. No new cases of the disease were reported from Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts on the day.
The authorities declared 78 patients recovered from the disease on Monday. The department has so far detected 1270 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year in the State . A total of 959 patients have recovered from the disease so far. A total of nine patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 this year in the state.
The State now has 302 active patients of Covid-19 with Dehradun leading the table with 91 active cases of the disease followed by Nainital which has 68 active cases of the disease.
