A programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was organised at the Shri Guru Ram Rai (GSRR) University here on Wednesday. The theme of the programme was ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement. Speaking at the occasion, Vice Chancellor (VC) of SGRR University, Uday Singh Rawat urged all to remember and pay homage to the martyrs who had laid down their lives while fighting for the country’s independence. He said all the students, faculties and staff members must ensure their active roles in making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a big success.
The Registrar, SGRR University, Deepak Sahni shared legal information about the laws to be abided by while unfurling the national flag over homes and other buildings.
The students of the Department of Music, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, SGRR University, presented many patriotic songs in the programme.
