Actor Akshay Kumar meets CM , discusses film shooting prospects in U’khand

After visiting Kedarnath shrine, the actor Akshay Kumar met the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the latter’s residence in the evening. During the meeting, the CM said that the State government has taken a string of measures as part of its new film policy to ensure that the State emerges as a prominent film shooting hub in the country. He told the actor that the State government has not just been providing a number of incentives to the film makers but also has made things easy for film shooting. He also said that the State’s natural beauty is a factor for Uttarakhand’s emergence as a film industry hub in the country.   He presented the actor with a traditional shawl and memento.

Akshay shared his experience of  visiting Kedarnath Dham with the CM and appreciated the efforts made by the State government for providing all possible facilities for the pilgrims of the revered shrine.
