The much-awaited Adi Kailash and Om Parvat heli service may be launched on December 15 if there is sufficient snowfall and the weather is favourable. Notably, the service was earlier slated for launching on November 15, but due to paucity of snowfall it was held up.
As per the agreement between the State government and the heli operator, the fare has been fixed at Rs 72,000 from Naini Saini airport to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. With the State government paying Rs 26,000 as subsidy, the individual fare has come down to Rs 46,000.
