The dialogue writer of the epic Ramayana-based mythological action film ‘Adipurush’ Manoj Munatshir has finally issued heart-felt apology in response to the backlash he has been facing since the movie was released in theatres. The row was triggered over a section of the people saying that their sentiment had been hurt by the dialogue he had written for Lord Hanuman which allegedly sounds like that of a goon. Besides, it is being said that the film has made mockery of the Hindu gods and goddesses. Immediately after the release, Munatshir reportedly said that there was nothing wrong in the dialogues of the film. Meanwhile, the controversy generated by its dialogue has got embroiled in litigation with the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court having directed the producer, director and dialogue-writer of the film to appear before it on July 27 when the next hearing of the case would be held.
