The State administration released the 2025 calendar on the last day of the year 2024 with full details of the public holidays of the new year. The public notification made it clear that if the dates of the public holidays for the State are changed on the basis of lunar calendar no separate notification would be issued, stating the changes. Further, the administration said that the State government is empowered to declare an additional public holiday in the coming year.
