Recruitment rallies covering all districts to be held in three main centres

The rallies to recruit Agniveers in the Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme are going to be organised in Uttarakhand from August 19 onwards. The PRO (Defense) Lucknow, Shantunu Pratap Singh informed in a statement that the recruitment of Agniveers in Uttarakhand will be organised under the ARO Lansdowne, Almora and Pithoragarh.
Under ARO Lansdowne, the recruitment of Agniveer will be organised from August 19 to 31 in Gabar Singh camp, Kotdwar and will cover the seven districts of Chamoli, Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi. Under ARO Almora, the recruitment of Agniveers will be held from August 20 to 31 at Somnath ground, Kumaon regiment centre, Ranikhet and will cover the four districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar.
Similarly, under ARO Pithoragarh the recruitment will be organised from September 5 to 12 at General BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh and will cover the two districts of Champawat and Pithoragarh.
