The 13 days long Army recruitment rally under Agnipath scheme for the recruitment of Agniveers which was started on August 19 in Kotdwar town of Pauri district ended on Monday. August 30 and 31 have been kept as reserve days for the rally by the army authorities.
On the 11th day a total of 2915 candidates of tehsil Haridwar, Laksar and Bhagwanpur of district Haridwar took part in the rally.
It is notable that a total of 63,360 candidates of seven district of Garhwal region Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri , Chamoli , Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi
have registered under categories Agniveer general duty, technical, clerk/ SKT , tradesman across the state Uttarakhand and out of these 48726 candidates appeared in the recruitment rally in eleven days from 19th August to 29 August.
