Ajay Tamta presents 100-day report card of Modi 3.0

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta provided detailed information about the welfare schemes dished out by the Narendra Modi government 3.0 on completion of its 100 days. “The report card for the first 100 days of the government as regards Uttarakhand is quite impressive,” he added.
“The first phase of the work involving Almora-Bageshwar Road has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.50 crore. Besides, works on the construction of several rods, including the two-lane road from Kathgodam to Nainital, are on. Plus, the existing roads from Jeolokote to Bhowali via Kainchi bypass, from Almora to Ranikhet via Padukholi to Karnaprayag and from Almora to Panar are being changed into two-lane,” he said, adding that all the National Highways are being made two-lane roads.
Tamta further said that the contract worth Rs 384 crore for widening 58 km stretch of National Highway-9 from one lane into two- lane roads had been awarded on September 7. “This will make it easier to view Mount Kailash from Lipulekh,” he said and added that the Modi 3.0 has been promoting connectivity involving India- China border on a priority basis.
He also referred to a slew of development projects involving the Char Dham Yatra.
