Ajay Kumar Singh assumed charge as the director (Operations) in UJVN Limited on Tuesday. Prior to taking charge as the director, he was the general manager of UJVNL’s Bhagirathi projects.
Appointed as the executive engineer in UJVNL in 2005, he has experience in the field of hydro power for over 27 years. Besides, he has special experiences in a number of fields like construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance among others.
During the period of his long service, he has made significant contributions while working at various levels in hydro power projects like Nathpa – Jhakri, Kol Dam, Larji, Maneri – Bhali II and Vyasi.
