All Saints’ College student Akanksha Chaturvedi hoisted the national flag atop the 7,500 metre high Kang Yatse II peak in the Ladakh region. The 14 year old has motivated her school mates and become the second student from her school to summit a major peak.
Summiting this peak was not an easy task but Akanksha who has been studying in this school since class IV exhibited her skill, courage and patience by climbing this high Himalayan peak. Currently in class IX of this school, Akanksha credited her family members and teachers for inspiring her to achieve this feat.
