The Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan said that Ramlala’s upcoming consecration at the temple in Ayodhya should be welcomed by all as a robust assertion of the Indian culture and none should have reservations over it with the Indian culture being embedded in unity in diversity ethos.

He said this while addressing a function organised in Ayodhya to mark the 75th birth anniversary of the religious leader Ramchandra Rambhadracharya. During the programme, Rambhadracharya felicitated several Padma Shri awardees who are working in different fields.

While speaking on the occasion, Padma Shri awardee and noted orthopaedic surgeon from Dehradun Dr BKS Sanjay urged Rambhadracharya to convey his message for the welfare of the world and humanity from the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Rambhadracharya in his speech exhorted the chancellors and vice chancellors of the universities present at the function to introspect.
