Almora Urban Co-operative Bank Limited said that it is planning to open nine new branches in the 2026-27 fiscal year. Out of them, two branches will come up in Kumaon: in Kashipur and Dineshpur under Udham Singh Nagar district.
Other branches will be opened in Kankhal and Shivalik Nagar in Haridwar district, Ring Road and Miyawala in Dehradun district, Karnaprayag in Chamoli district, Chamba in Tehri district and Rudraprayag.
With these nine new branches, the number of bank’s branches will go up to 74, said the managing director, P C Tiwari and added that his bank is among the top 15 urban cooperative banks in India.
