In latest news from Utarakhand, Justice Alok Mehra has been sworn in as a new judge of the Nainital High Court by the Chief Justice Guhanathan Narender. With the swearing-in, the number of judges in Nainital High Court has increased to nine. Born in Nainital in 1972, Justice Mehra kept practising as a lawyer in the High Court since its establishment. He obtained his degree in law from the Law Centre, Delhi University in 1998. The Bar Association of the court congratulated him on his appointment as a judge.
