In a major decision, the Uttarakhand government on Friday released the Contractual, Daily Wages, Work affected, Fix Salary and Ad-hoc Workers Regularisation Regulation (amended) 2025. The measure will pave the way for regularisation of more than 5,000 contractual workers, ad-hoc workers and those appointed on daily wages and who have completed 10 years of service in 2018.
The amendment in the regulation follows a decision taken in this regard in the meeting of the State cabinet held on November 12.
As per the amended regulation issued by the secretary Personnel, Shailesh Bagauli, the contractual, work charge, ad-hoc workers who had completed 10 years of continuous service till December 04, 2018, will be eligible for regularisation of their service in their respective departments.
