Anamika Sharma case: Dasauni demands HC monitored investigation

The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni has demanded that the investigation in the sensational sexual abuse case of Haridwar involving BJP leader Anamika Sharma should be monitored by the High Court.

She said that the SIT has taken remand of Sharma and her paramour Sumit Patwal and has taken them to a hotel in Agra. Dasauni claimed that names of three persons found in the register of this hotel has given a new dimension to the case.

She said that it is believed that these names are of some influential politicians and government officials. Dasauni added that the data recovered from the mobile phone of Anamika Sharma can expose many prominent names in the State.

 She said that the case exposes the double standards of the ruling BJP.
