Noted environmentalist Dr Anil Prakash Joshi who was a Padma Bhushan awardee this year , young environmentalist from Uttarakhand Ridhima Pandey and winner of the Earthshot Prize, Vidyut Mohan were awarded the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice 2021. The awards were felicitated by the founder and chairman of the Harmony foundation, Dr Abraham Mathai.
Joshi was awarded for his immense contribution in the environmental sustainability sector, Ridhima was recognised for her tremendous efforts in making the nation aware of the climate change and Vidyut was acknowledged for combating the problem of air pollution through his social enterprise, Takachar.
