The sports department of Kumaun University’s DSB campus organised a two-day annual athletic meet in which teachers and staff along with the students of the campus participated. Besides, students of many schools participated. Among the dignitaries present was the vice- chancellor of the university, Prof Dewan Singh Rawat.
In the annual sports, 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter and 1500 meter races were held. The noted athlete Suresh Pandey and Harish Tiwari were felicitated on the occasion.
