The Asian School organised its 19th annual award ceremony on Saturday. A total of 649 students received awards with 130 students receiving the Governor’s Award, 260 receiving Principal’s Award, 137 students receiving the Teacher’s Award and 122 receiving HRT’s Award. Joint director of Secondary Education, Mukul Kumar Sati was the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Sati appreciated the students and their teachers for putting up a good performance. He commended the school for its efforts in providing an environment which encourages the students to strive for excellence in every field. The school’s vice president Madanjeet Singh felicitated the chief guest. The students performed a series of dance and musical presentations. Earlier, the principal Ruchi Pradhan Datta read out the annual academic report.
